The Jordan Youth National Cycling Team has concluded its training camp, which was held in the Dead Sea area from 13 to 24 January, as part of its preparations for the upcoming Asian Championship, within the official preparation plan approved by the Jordan Cycling Federation to enhance the riders’ physical and technical readiness.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Youth National Team Coach Sohaib Al-Abbadi, with the participation of Federation mechanic Walid Soboh. It featured the participation of Youth National Team riders Saif Mishal, Kazem Al-Barq, and Fahad Bazyan, alongside Under-23 rider Mohammad Al-Saudi, in addition to several riders from the youth and junior categories: Abdulrahman Al-Dararjah, Hamza Al-Shaar, Mohammad Al-Khalidi, Abdulrahman Sharman, and Hashem Al-Alawneh.
The camp included an intensive training program implemented according to modern, scientifically based training systems, focusing on physical, tactical, and technical aspects. It also featured daily lectures covering time management and proper nutrition, as part of an integrated preparation program aimed at developing both individual and team performance.
The training camp targeted junior, youth, and Under-23 categories, with a primary focus on the youth category, in line with the specific requirements of each age group and within the framework of short- and long-term preparation plans, to enhance the readiness of the Youth National Team ahead of the upcoming competitions, foremost among them the Asian Championship.
